“ANYONE WHO CAN’T SELL A BAG OF AIR WITH A DREAM INSIDE DOESN’T DESERVE TO CALL HIMSELF AN AMERICAN MUCH LESS AN ART DEALER.” - DAVE HICKEY

To pay homage to Tobias Wong, on the anniversary of his death (May 30, 2011 Memorial Day) his project Dreams was reinterpreted by selling The American dream on the streets of Philadelphia. The project is based on a quote by David Hickey.

A mirror is placed into a brown paper bag that reflects the purchaser when the bag is opened. The reflection represents the American Dream, which unfortunately began to fade during harsh times in 2011.
